In the lead up to your adventure I will:
Provide pre-departure medical advice for participants, tailored to the environment, activity and the individuals
Form a medical kit-list
Create a medevac plan
Create evidence-based illness and injury protocols for your use
This service can be extended to include:
Basic medical training for you and your team before departure
Telehealth support during your adventure if any minor problems or major emergencies arise
As your field doctor I will:
Manage all pre- and post-departure health logistics
Conduct regular health checks of participants during the adventure, tailored to the environment, activity, and individual
Prevent crisis through early recognition and intervention of illness and injury
Initiate emergency treatment for the critically ill or injured, and manage medical evacuation
Provide psychological support for all participants
Bring a more extensive medical kit and as well as the knowledge and skills to go with it
Assist with all other aspects of the expedition - cooking, pack carrying, enthusiasm, whatever you need!
